COVID-19: MDC Official Response

We at MDC Data Centers consider the safety and security of our employees and customers to be paramount. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its continuing impact worldwide, we would like to take a moment to share with you more information about the steps we are taking to assure the safety of our staff, our visitors, and the smooth continuity of our data center operations.

Precautions to protect our employees

Effective immediately until May 15th, all non-essential MDC employees ( finance, marketing, sales, among others ) will be working remotely and all non-essential travel has been postponed during this time.

It is important for us to clarify that there are no cases of COVID-19 within the company and this is a temporary preventative measure.

Rest assured that this will not impact any critical operations and ongoing projects at any of our facilities.

Safety protocols at our data centers

While we will remain open during our regularly scheduled hours of operation, we do ask all of our customers and visitors to consider the following precautions:

Travel only if necessary
We're asking everyone to limit the travel of non-essential personnel to our data centers until advised otherwise
Social distancing and sanitation
Adhere to the latest local and national guidelines on social distancing and sanitation when visiting our data centers
If unwell, please refrain from visiting
If one of your employees is feeling unwell or has traveled internationally in the past two weeks, please have them refrain from visiting our data centers
Feel free to postpone non-critical work
If possible, postpone any non-critical work requests to allow our team to be readily available if more critical issues do arise

In addition to these safety precautions, we are conducting daily workplace sanitizing routines and assuring the availability of hand sanitizer throughout our facilities.
